Finished watching "Perchance to Dream" from Jaime's _The Twilight Zone_ DVD set. About a disturbed man who visits a psychiatrist because of his uncontrollable imagination and a woman he keeps meeting in his dreams.

Having viewed many episodes now, I note that the average protagonist in this series is male, between the ages of 30 and 40. So unlike most TV stories today that feature female teenagers.

I wonder what happened to the American psyche between then and now.
