Finished watching "Third from the Sun" from Jaime's The Twilight Zone DVD series. Set on the eve of the end of the world, two families bribe their way to a rocket ship that will travel through space and land on a planet allegedly populated by other creatures.
Love the set of the house in the beginning of the story. It is on the threshold of the 1960s and features items that were considered very modern then, including statuettes, vases, and lamps. I was also reminded that hairbands were the in thing at the time.
Also watched "I Shot an Arrow into the Air" from the same series. About a rocket ship that goes off-rad and lands in an unknown place. It is about the survival of the fittest.
Both episodes have interesting twists.
And that brings me to the end of this set. I've viewed every episode and enjoyed all of them immensely. This is one of the best gifts I ever received. I love the scripts and the productions. Most of all, the series brought me back to my childhood and made me feel as though I were eight years old again.
