Watched the nth replay of the melodrama When Sparks Fly on DIVA while Benjie was replacing the ceiling lights and completely revising the AC drainage system in Aubrey's bedroom.

That was followed by another nth replay of a Merlin episode. I do so love Merlinesque implements and props (ornate ones, not the ones in the TV series), and I have lots of them. Friends like sending me voluminous, Merlin treatises, most of them deliberately convoluted and turgid and highly pretentious, because they are beyond their comprehension. The Merlin temperament is not suited to Southeast Asia, in the first place.
