So far the best studio easel I have ever seen and want is that owned by John Singer Sargent. It is big and it is strong, very much unlike the wobbly, portable easels that are sold in art supplies stores. As a matter of fact I want my easel to be sturdy enough for me to jump, stand, climb, and hang on.
