Imagine your head divided into four quadrants: left front, right front, left rear, and right rear.

Never let even a single drop of rain or any kind of water fall on the left quadrant (unless you are showering or bathing, of course). If you do, you will develop a cold or a fever, or take on the flu.

This is why many men wear caps or head cloths. It is to protect that particular quadrant.
