The summer always bakes in silence. I shall soon miss the quiet oppression of the sun. When the rains come, they will trample on our rooftops like the armies of Genghis Khan. During respites the cicadas in our dragon tree will take over. Not even hard rock can shut them out, because the music of cicadas is the very sound of the planet slowly revolving within the cosmos.
