Was re-reading the biographies of Thomas Hart Benton, John Singer Sargent, Tamara de Lampicka, and Henry Scott Tuke and couldn't help but note that their biographers described their works as having gotten "out of fashion". That is very perplexing to me. I believe that art never goes in and out of fashion, because it is timeless.
