Atchay Salon de Beaute

We have the terms "Bumbayin" and " mistisuhin", but why don't we have "Intsikin"? Why do we say "Pinoy na Pinoy" when we really mean "Malay"? And why is there the superfluous term "mukhang Kano" to distinguish the subject from "mistisuhin", which really refers to the Spanish but also means "Caucasian" anyway? Finally, when we see an African-American, why are we unable to say "mukhang Kano"?
