I tried to convince Ronald to take me to Lucky Chinatown and check into a hotel for a night, either on a Chinese New Year's Eve or a night within the Festival of Hungry Ghosts during which the Chinese opera (kao-ka) will be staged in the streets, but he doesn't feel up to it.
