I observe that suicidal depression in others is caused by their taking anti-anxiety medication. It seems that, when the medication wears off, they undergo a crash from which it is difficult to pick up unless they continue to take the medication. They begin to feel peaceful and secure only when they have their medication at hand. Once they are addicted to it, it becomes even more difficult to wean themselves away from it. They experience an inability to relax, hot flashes, a tightening in their muscles, and are unable to sleep. That is when they feel hopeless and suicidal.
The primal experience of anxiety is that moment when the newborn emerges from the uterus into the outside world. All succeeding anxiety attacks are based on it. Since no two human beings are the same, no two triggers of anxiety are the same. Note, however, that the neonate is NOT medicated for its anxiety--it ADAPTS, and, therefore, so can you to any situation that causes you anxiety. Seek help from psychologists rather than psychiatrists, because the latter will tend to prescribe you something.
Never take medication for your reactions, feelings, attitudes, and desires. It will only kill you.
Live. Anxiety is a manifestation of disappointment, frustration, and broken dreams. So what if your dreams are broken 1,000 times? Simply rise from where you fell, pursue another dream, and resume your journey for the 1,001st time.
